Methodist Thrift Shop Community Impact
Proceeds from the thrift shop go to support First UMC ministries
and local nonprofit organizations such as:
and Scholarships for Higher Education
Items also are donated to local outreach programs, families affected by fires or
other disasters and those experiencing homelessness.​
Donations
The Methodist Thrift Shop accepts the following donations:

Household goods:
Used and new clothing, kitchen and dinnerware, tableware,
blankets, pillows, home décor, holiday decorations
​
Electrical appliances:
Lamps, fans, heaters, small kitchen appliances
​
Sports equipment:
Skis, bats, balls, golf clubs, fishing and camping equipment,
weights and other workout gear
The thrift shop does not accept the following:​
Televisions, computers, phones, printers, furniture, baby furniture,
cribs, bassinets, walkers, car seats, mattresses, box springs,
refrigerators, freezers, tires, paint or any chemicals
​
Donation drop-off times:
The thrift shop accepts donations Mon - Sat from 9 am - 3 pm
