Children’s Enrichment Program (CEP) is a nondenominational, Christian-guided program for children ages 2 - 5. During this stage of development, children grow physically, socially and emotionally. They also are learning new language and thinking skills. Our program enhances that growth through play and social interactions with other kids their own age. With teacher assistance, they learn age-appropriate skills and activities, including, but not limited to playtime, music, arts, crafts, developmental skills, Bible stories, chapel time and storytime.

Sponsored by the First UMC, CEP was started 35 years ago to meet the needs of parents with pre-school age children. The program is small, with a maximum of 23 students, which enables us to provide children with individual attention and lots of hands-on learning opportunities. We have two full-time teachers and one teacher’s aide.

We encourage parents to visit our program and take a tour. We’ll also give you a Parent Handbook that outlines tuition fees, enrollment procedures, program policies and other aspects that guide our program.

“I started working with the Children’s Enrichment Program 16 years ago and have watched many children learn and grow from their participation  –  including my two kids. With small class sizes, teachers are committed to creating the best experience for each child.”

Lori Frizzell, head teacher

“My daughter and son attended CEP and they absolutely adored their teachers. CEP created a supportive environment where they learned how to follow routines and were taught skills like writing and basic math. More important, they were taught kindness and empathy when engaging with teachers and peers. The icing on the cake is that they were thoroughly prepared for kindergarten.”
